The 10G Ethernet Media Converter provides high-speed conversion between 10G copper Ethernet and fiber optic networks. Featuring one 10G RJ45 port and one 10G SFP+ slot, it supports long-distance fiber communication for enterprise, telecom, ISP, and data center applications.
Supporting single-mode (SM) and multimode (MM) fiber, the converter is compatible with optical wavelengths of 850nm, 1310nm, 1490nm, and 1550nm. Depending on the installed SFP+ module, it supports transmission distances from 550 meters up to 100 kilometers.
